Mock Wedding Shoots

13th March 2017

February saw me collaborate with Kent Bridal Hair, Kings Hill Nails and Enfleur Design to create some mock wedding shoots to showcase our skills.

We had some willing models and some beautiful wedding dresses and Ian at Kentfeild Country Estate kindly allowed us to use his beautiful venue for the six shoots over the two days.

While it was hard work, it was so much fun!
We drank copious amounts of tea, ate cupcakes and laughed a lot with our models.

So while you will see lots of beautiful posed and formal images across all of our pages and websites over the coming weeks and months, I wanted to share some of the ‘behind the scenes’ images showing the not so glamorous, but definitely fun side, of our mock wedding shoot in the very beautiful Kentfield Country Estate.

Day one, Mother Nature wasn’t very kind to us and it was a very dark, gloomy and rainy day. We didn’t let that stop us and once our brides were in their dresses we shot inside, using the décor of the hunting lodge.

Here are some of the funnier images of Jaime, Yasmin and Liv getting ready.

“Is that the new Dyson hairdryer?? Oooooh!”

Day two and Mother Nature was much more cooperative giving us stunning Winter sunshine but it was cooooold! Our brides were amazing, braving the cold for their shoot, but once the camera was away they were bundled into a coat and blanked and plonked into the back of a Landrover! No glamour there 🙂

Here are Fleur, Chloe and Alex in their out takes. Alex even managed to climb a gate, in a huge wedding dress, assisted by Caroline. So funny!

All in all the two days were a great success. We got some beautiful images of Liv and Caroline’s make-up skills, Terri’s stunning hair designs and Gaynor’s beautiful flowers.

Thank you to all our wonderful models (Yasmin, Jaime, Liv, Chloe, Fleur, Alex)  who braved the cold and allowed us to bring our visions to life.

Thanks to all who donated their wedding dresses

And a huge thanks to Ian for the use of his stunning venue.

I have linked below to all of the businesses involved on both days.

And also some of our brides also have their own business, which I have also linked.

Keep your eyes peeled across all our sites over the coming weeks for the formal images of the days. If you’d like to have this amazing dream team work on your wedding, please do contact us.

I can even repair a puncture with a compressor when stranded in a field! (not just a photographer 🙂 )
